How to Change FastQuit Settings with Mod Menu
Open the config
FastQuit exposes its options through
Mod Menu, so you do not need to edit files by hand. From the title screen, open
Mod Menu, find FastQuit in the list, and click its config button. This opens the in-game settings screen where you can toggle each option.
What each option controls
- Toast notifications: turn these on if you want a small popup confirming when a background save finishes, or off if you find them distracting.
- Save priority: this adjusts how much CPU/IO attention the background save gets. A higher priority finishes saves faster but can cause stutter while you play; a lower priority keeps gameplay smooth but makes saves take longer.
- Show save time: enable this if you want to see how long each world took to save, useful for diagnosing slow disks.
Apply and verify
1. Change the toggles you want.
2. Save/close the config screen. Most changes apply immediately; priority changes may only take effect on the next save.
3. Test by entering a world and quitting to the title screen, then watch for the toast or timing display you enabled.
If you prefer editing the config file directly, the same options are available there, but
Mod Menu is the simplest route.
