Enable Custom Ruins Generation in Your World

Check Your Mod Load Order

Ensure Fastcraft+Ruins Patch is loaded *after* both Fastcraft and the Bare Ruins mod in your mod folder. The patch acts as a bridge between them, so load order matters. If structures still don't appear, verify both parent mods are present and enabled.

Verify World Generation Settings

When creating a new world, confirm that structure generation is enabled in your world options. The Bare Ruins mod generates custom structures like temples, towers, and dungeons across your terrain. These spawn naturally during chunk generation, so you may need to explore unloaded chunks to see them.

Test in a Fresh World

If existing worlds show no ruins, create a test world with the same settings. Travel far from spawn (at least 1,000 blocks) to ensure you're in newly generated terrain. Structures generate during initial chunk creation, not retroactively in already-explored areas.

Check for Conflicts

If ruins still don't appear, disable other structure-generating mods temporarily to rule out conflicts. Some mods compete for world generation space and may prevent Bare Ruins from spawning properly.
