Making Sure You Have Enough Materials Before Quick Trading

Why Materials Matter

The quick trade button only performs as many trades as your inventory can support. If you are short on the input item, the mod will simply do fewer trades than you expected, or none at all. Before you start, gather a large stack of whatever the villager is buying or selling so the quick trade can run to the trade's lock limit in one click.

Checking the Trade Requirements

Look at the trade slot in the villager GUI. It shows the input item and the quantity required per trade. Multiply that by the number of remaining uses the villager has for that offer to know roughly how much you need. If you are trading farmable items like wheat, carrots, or paper for emeralds, bring several stacks so you can max multiple villagers in one trip.

Handling Partial Trades

If your inventory runs out mid-way, the quick trade will stop when it can no longer complete another trade. Top up your inventory and click the button again to continue. The villager's remaining uses are preserved between clicks, so you can resume exactly where you left off until the trade locks.
