Plan Your Weapon Rotation

Since cooldown no longer resets on switching, you need a different approach to combat. Instead of relying on the switch-back exploit, carry multiple weapons with different cooldown values in your hotbar.

Effective Hotbar Setup

Arrange weapons by their cooldown duration:

• Slot 1: Fast-attacking weapon (sword, axe)
• Slot 2: Medium-cooldown weapon
• Slot 3: Heavy-damage weapon with long cooldown

While your primary weapon cools down, switch to a faster alternative. This keeps you dealing damage without waiting.

Combat Flow

1. Attack with your heavy weapon

2. Immediately switch to a faster tool

3. Deal damage while the first weapon cools down

4. Return to the heavy weapon once its cooldown expires

This strategy rewards preparation and weapon diversity rather than exploit execution. It works well in both PvE and PvP scenarios, encouraging players to carry specialized tools for different situations.
