Does the mod work on multiplayer servers?
Yes, Fast Sleep Mod works on multiplayer servers, but all players in the world must be in bed for the night to skip. If even one player is awake, the night will not advance.
Will phantoms still spawn if I use this mod?
No, phantoms will not spawn as long as you sleep regularly to reset the insomnia counter, just like in vanilla. The mod only removes the animation—the sleep mechanic itself remains unchanged.
Can I disable the mod for specific beds or dimensions?
Fast Sleep Mod applies globally to all beds in all dimensions. There is no per-bed or per-dimension configuration option in the standard mod.
Does this mod affect bed respawn points?
No, the mod only speeds up the night-skipping animation. Your respawn point is set normally when you sleep, exactly as it works in vanilla.
What happens if I'm in a bed when the server restarts?
You will wake up at your spawn point or last set bed location, the same as vanilla behavior. The mod does not change respawn mechanics.
Does the mod work with other sleep-related mods?
Compatibility depends on how other mods modify sleep behavior. If another mod also changes the sleep animation or night-skip timing, conflicts may occur—test your mod combination to be sure.
Can I still see the bed animation if I want to?
No, the mod removes the animation entirely with no option to toggle it back on. You must uninstall the mod to see the vanilla darkening effect again.
Does fast sleep affect hunger or health regeneration?
No, the mod only removes the animation. All vanilla sleep benefits like hunger restoration and status effect removal work exactly the same.
Will this mod cause lag or performance issues?
Fast Sleep Mod is lightweight and should not cause performance problems. It actually reduces animation processing, so it may slightly improve performance on lower-end systems.
What if I'm AFK in bed—will the night skip?
Yes, if you are alone on the server or all other players are also in beds, the night will skip immediately when you enter the bed, even if you are AFK.
