Manage Backup Storage and Delete Old Snapshots

Viewing Your Backup List

Over time, you'll accumulate multiple backups. The mod provides tools to review and manage these snapshots to keep your storage organized.

Deleting Unwanted Backups

1. Open the backup management interface

2. Browse your backup history—backups are usually sorted by date or custom name

3. Select a backup you no longer need

4. Choose the delete or remove option

5. Confirm the deletion

Removing old backups frees up disk space. Since the mod uses incremental storage, even keeping many backups doesn't consume as much space as traditional full-world copies would, but pruning outdated snapshots is still good practice.

Storage Efficiency

Fast Backups Mod's Git-based system means your backup folder remains lean compared to vanilla backup methods. However, if you're running low on disk space, prioritize keeping recent backups and those before major building milestones. You can safely delete intermediate snapshots from routine gameplay.
