Make doors animate faster or slower

Adjusting Animation Speed

The mod includes settings to control how quickly doors swing open and closed.

1. Locate your mod config file in .minecraft/config

2. Open the Fancy Door Animations configuration file

3. Find the animation speed or duration parameter

4. Increase the value to slow doors down, or decrease it to speed them up

5. Save the file and restart your game

Testing Your Changes

After adjusting the speed setting, open and close a door to see the new animation timing. If the change feels too extreme, make smaller adjustments and test again.

What This Affects

Speed settings typically apply to all door types—wooden doors, iron doors, and trapdoors will all animate at your chosen speed. The animation remains smooth regardless of the speed value you select, maintaining the fluid motion that makes the mod visually appealing.
