Fix doors not animating or animating incorrectly

Check Your Installation

1. Verify the mod is in your .minecraft/mods folder

2. Confirm the mod version matches your Minecraft version

3. Ensure you're using a compatible mod loader (Fabric or Forge, depending on the mod)

4. Restart your game completely after installing

Verify Door Types

The mod animates vanilla wooden doors, iron doors, and trapdoors. Custom doors from other mods may not animate unless specifically supported. Check that you're testing with standard vanilla doors.

Reset Configuration

If doors animate strangely or partially:

1. Delete the mod's config file from .minecraft/config

2. Restart your game to regenerate default settings

3. Test door animations again

Conflict Resolution

Other mods affecting door behavior or rendering might interfere. Try disabling recently added mods to identify conflicts. Resource packs can also impact animations—test with the default pack if doors behave oddly.

If issues persist, check that your graphics settings aren't set to minimum performance mode, which might disable visual effects.
