Disable door animations for specific doors
Using Configuration Files
The mod respects resource packs and configuration settings. To disable animations on certain doors, you'll need to access the mod's config folder.
1. Open your .minecraft folder
2. Navigate to config and locate the Fancy Door Animations settings file
3. Look for options to exclude specific door types or materials
4. You can typically disable animations for wooden doors, iron doors, or trapdoors individually
Per-World Settings
If your server or world has specific rules about door behavior, the mod is client-side only—meaning your animation settings won't affect other players. Your personal config file controls what you see.
After editing the config, restart your game or use /reload if available. Test by opening a door to confirm the animation state has changed.
Troubleshooting
If doors still animate after disabling them in config, verify you edited the correct file and that the setting name matches exactly. Some versions use different config formats, so check for .toml or .json files.
