Manage Faction Ranks and Member Permissions

Understanding Faction Ranks

Factions support multiple ranks beyond leader, allowing you to delegate responsibilities. Use /f rank [player] [rank] to assign roles. Different ranks can have varying permissions for claiming land, managing members, accessing the faction bank, and modifying settings.

Setting Up Your Leadership Structure

Create a hierarchy that suits your playstyle:

  • Promote trusted players to officer or moderator roles
  • Assign specific permissions to each rank (configuration depends on server settings)
  • Use /f promote and /f demote to adjust player standings
  • Remove inactive members with /f kick [player] to preserve power efficiency

Communication and Organization

Use faction ranks to organize tasks—assign land managers to handle claims, military leaders to coordinate raids, and recruiters to grow membership. Members can communicate privately in faction chat using /f chat or switch to global chat with /g chat. The stylized player list shows rank badges, making hierarchy visible to all faction members.
