Fabrishot Mod FAQ

Press F9 to capture a high-resolution screenshot. This is separate from Minecraft's normal screenshot key, so your vanilla screenshots still work as usual.

They are saved to the same screenshots folder as your regular Minecraft screenshots. You can open that folder from the game or find it in your Minecraft installation directory.

Open the Fabrishot settings through Mod Menu, which uses Cloth Config for its options screen. There you can set the capture width and height to whatever resolution you want.

Very high resolutions take longer to render and can stall the game briefly while capturing. Lower the resolution in the config, or reduce your render distance and other heavy settings before capturing.

Fabrishot captures the game world, so hide the HUD first if you don't want it in the image. Use the standard hide-HUD key before pressing F9.

Fabrishot captures what your game is rendering, so it generally works alongside shader packs. If you see artifacts or crashes at extreme resolutions, try a lower resolution or temporarily disable shaders.

This usually happens when the resolution is too high for your GPU's available memory. Lower the capture resolution in the config and try again.

Yes, the capture key can be changed in Minecraft's standard Controls settings. Look for the Fabrishot entry and assign whatever key you prefer.

No, it works alongside it. F2 still takes regular screenshots, and F9 takes the high-resolution Fabrishot capture.

Make sure the resolution is actually set higher than your normal window size in the config. Also check that you're opening the full-size file and not a downscaled preview.
