Making Modded Biomes Match Vanilla Seasonal Colors
Goal
You want Traverse and Terrestria biomes to feel like part of the same world as vanilla biomes, shifting color in sync with the season rather than looking permanently summer-green next to a snowy vanilla forest.
How the Compat Mod Achieves This
It provides custom seasonal colormaps tailored to Traverse and Terrestria biome types, so their grass, foliage, and water follow the Fabric Seasons cycle. There is nothing to configure in-game — installing it alongside both parent mods and Fabric Seasons is the whole setup.
Steps
1. Install Fabric Seasons, Traverse, Terrestria, and this compat mod together. All four are required for the effect.
2. Enter a world and locate a border where a vanilla biome meets a Traverse or Terrestria biome. This is the easiest place to compare colors.
3. Advance the season and watch both sides. They should shift on the same schedule.
4. If one side lags, suspect a conflicting biome-color mod rather than this compat layer.
Tips
Season length and transition speed are controlled by Fabric Seasons, not this mod. If you want slower, more gradual color changes, adjust those settings in Fabric Seasons and the modded biomes will follow the same timing.
