How to Get Seasonal Colors Working in Traverse and Terrestria Biomes

Confirm the Compatibility Layer Is Active

This mod does not add new blocks or items. It only supplies seasonal colormaps so that Traverse and Terrestria foliage, grass, and water shift color as Fabric Seasons changes the season. If your Traverse or Terrestria biomes still look static while vanilla biomes change, the compatibility layer is not being applied.

Steps to Verify and Fix

1. Make sure both Traverse and Terrestria are installed alongside Fabric Seasons and this compat mod. The compat mod only patches biomes from those two mods, so a missing parent mod means nothing to color.

2. Load a world and travel into a Traverse or Terrestria biome. Watch a deciduous tree's leaves or a grass block over several in-game days as the season progresses.

3. If colors never shift, check that Fabric Seasons itself is functioning — vanilla forest leaves should be changing. If vanilla changes but the modded biomes do not, the compat mod is likely not loaded or is ordered incorrectly in your mod list.

4. Regenerate or reload the world after adjusting mod order; colormaps are applied at biome registration, so a stale world may not pick up changes.

What You Should See

Grass tints, foliage tints, and in some cases water color should follow the same seasonal curve as vanilla biomes, giving Traverse and Terrestria forests an autumn red or winter desaturation instead of a permanent summer green.
