Create a Custom Color Scheme for Your World Theme

Planning Your Color Palette

Before editing configuration files, decide what aesthetic fits your world. A nether-themed world might use deep reds and purples, while a sky dimension could use light blues and whites. A magical realm might benefit from enchanted purples and greens.

Editing Configuration for Consistency

Open the Explosive Party config file and adjust each explosion section to follow your chosen palette. Ensure colors transition smoothly from one section to the next—for example, bright yellow to orange to red creates a natural fire gradient.

Testing in Your World

Create a test area and trigger several explosions to see how your colors look in context. Lighting conditions, surrounding blocks, and particle density all affect how colors appear. Adjust as needed.

Fine-Tuning

If colors seem too bright or washed out, try darker hex values. If they're too dim, brighten them. Remember that particle transparency also affects perception, so test multiple times before finalizing your scheme.
