Hold the compass in your hand and look at your screen—the distance and coordinates of your target structure will display onscreen in real-time as you move.
Can I search for different structure types one after another?
Yes, you can use the custom structure selection menu to choose a different structure type each time you use the compass, allowing you to track multiple locations in sequence.
What happens if the compass can't find any structures of the type I'm searching for?
The compass will not point anywhere and won't display coordinates. This means either no structures of that type exist in your world, or they're beyond the compass's search range.
