Troubleshoot Excavar Not Working

Verify the Keybind is Active

Confirm that you're pressing the correct key. By default, this is left-alt. Check your configuration file to see if the keybind has been changed. Try the activation key in an empty area to ensure it's responding.

Check Mod Installation

Ensure Excavar is properly installed in your mods folder and that Minecraft recognizes it. Look for any error messages in your launcher log. If the mod isn't loading, reinstall it and verify compatibility with your Minecraft version.

Tool Compatibility

Excavar only works with mining tools: pickaxes, axes, and shovels. It won't function if you're holding a sword, hand tool, or non-mining item. Equip the appropriate tool for the block type you're mining.

Configuration Issues

If the mod loads but multi-block mining doesn't activate, your configuration file may be corrupted or reset. Delete the configuration file and restart Minecraft to regenerate it with default settings.

Creative Mode Limitation

Some versions of Excavar may not function in Creative Mode. Switch to Survival mode to test if the feature works properly.
