Mine Specific Block Types with Excavar

How Block Selection Works

Excavar destroys multiple blocks of the same type when activated. When you hold the keybind while looking at a stone block, it will mine nearby stone blocks in a radius around your position. It will not mix stone with dirt, ore with logs, or other different block types.

Mining Ore Efficiently

To mine a vein of ore effectively, aim your crosshair directly at the ore block you want to target, then hold the activation key. The mod will destroy all connected ore blocks of that type within its range. This is especially useful for coal, iron, copper, and other ores that form in clusters.

Mining Logs and Wood

When harvesting trees, look at a log block and activate Excavar. It will fell multiple logs at once, though it won't automatically break leaves. You may need to manually clear leaves or use a separate tool.

Avoiding Accidental Destruction

Be careful what block you're looking at when you activate the mod. If you aim at dirt near your base, you might accidentally destroy nearby dirt blocks you wanted to keep. Always verify your target before holding the keybind.
