Excalibur Lootr Support Resource Pack FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I get the Lootr chests to look like Excalibur?
Enable the Excalibur Lootr Support pack in your resource pack list and drag it above the main Excalibur pack. The support pack only overrides Lootr's container textures, so it needs to sit on top of Excalibur to apply correctly.
Why do my Lootr chests still look vanilla even with the pack on?
This almost always means the pack order is wrong, or another resource pack is overriding the Lootr textures. Move the support pack above Excalibur and any other packs that touch chest or barrel textures, then reload with F3+T.
Does this pack change anything besides chests?
It retextures every Lootr container, including trapped chests, barrels, and shulker boxes. It does not change Lootr's loot mechanics, instanced inventories, or any Excalibur textures outside of Lootr's blocks.
Do I need the main Excalibur pack for this to work?
Yes, this is a support pack, not a standalone texture pack. Without Excalibur loaded underneath it, you'll only get the Lootr container textures and none of the surrounding medieval style.
Will this work on a server if only I have it installed?
Resource packs are client-side, so you can use it on any server and only you will see the Excalibur-styled Lootr containers. Other players will see whatever pack they have, or vanilla Lootr textures if they have none.
Can I use this with other Lootr texture packs at the same time?
You can, but only the topmost pack that touches Lootr's container textures will show. Put the Excalibur support pack above other Lootr packs if you want its look to win.
Does the pack affect performance or FPS?
No, it's just texture replacements and doesn't add models, particles, or scripts. Any FPS impact is the same as running Excalibur itself.
Why do only some Lootr containers match and others don't?
That usually means another pack is overriding specific container types, like barrels or shulkers, while leaving chests alone. Check your pack list for anything else that retextures those blocks and move the support pack above it.
Do I need to restart the game after enabling the pack?
No restart is needed. Just apply it in the resource pack menu and reload resources with F3+T, or let the game reload automatically when you confirm the pack selection.
Does this pack work with modded Lootr variants or addons?
It only covers the containers that Lootr itself adds, so addon blocks with their own textures won't be affected. If an addon reuses Lootr's base container textures, it will pick up the Excalibur look automatically.
