Set Up the Correct Load Order for Excalibur and Fresh Animations

Why Load Order Matters

This patch only works when resource packs are stacked in the exact sequence. If mobs look broken or textures don't apply, your load order is wrong.

Correct Stacking Order

Open your resource pack menu and arrange packs from bottom to top in this order:

1. Base Excalibur pack (bottom)

2. Excalibur Clarent Edition (directly above base)

3. Fresh Animations (above Clarent)

4. Freshly Modded Resource Pack (above Fresh Animations — only if you want Guard Villager textures)

5. Excalibur Fresh Animations Patch (very top)

How to Reorder

In your resource pack selection screen, use the arrow buttons to move packs up and down. Packs higher in the list override those below them. The patch must sit at the very top so its compatibility fixes apply last.

Once arranged, close the menu and reload your world. Mobs should now animate smoothly while keeping medieval textures intact.
