Fix Texture or Animation Conflicts Between Packs

Common Issues

Textures may appear broken, mobs might animate incorrectly, or you might see texture seams where packs overlap. These problems usually stem from load order or missing dependencies.

Diagnostic Steps

1. Verify load order — Check that the patch is at the very top and Fresh Animations sits above the Excalibur packs

2. Confirm all packs are present — You need Base Excalibur and Fresh Animations as minimum. Clarent Edition and Freshly Modded are optional but recommended

3. Reload the world — Close to menu and reopen your world to force texture reloading

4. Check for conflicts — If issues persist, temporarily disable Clarent Edition or Freshly Modded to isolate which pack causes problems

When to Reinstall

If reordering and reloading don't work, the patch file may be corrupted. Reinstall it and ensure it's positioned at the top of your stack.
