Enable Guard Villager Support with Custom Textures

What You Need

Guard Villagers only receive custom textures when you use this patch alongside the Freshly Modded Resource Pack. Without Freshly Modded, guards will use default textures even with the patch active.

Installation Steps

1. Ensure you have the Freshly Modded Resource Pack downloaded and enabled

2. Follow the standard load order: Base Excalibur → Clarent Edition → Fresh Animations → Freshly Modded → This Patch (on top)

3. Load into your world and spawn or find a Guard Villager

4. The guard should now display detailed facial textures and medieval armor styling from Excalibur

Troubleshooting

If guards still look plain, verify that Freshly Modded is positioned directly below this patch in your resource pack list. The patch applies Guard Villager texture fixes on top of Freshly Modded's base, so both must be present and correctly ordered.
