Customize Sunset and Sky Colors
Access Sky and Atmosphere Settings
Open the shader menu and look for Sky, Atmosphere, Horizon, or Color Grading options. These control how the evening sky transitions through colors.
Modify Sky Appearance
Common adjustments include:
- Sky Brightness — make the evening sky lighter or darker
- Horizon Color — adjust the warm tones at the horizon during sunset
- Sky Saturation — increase for more vivid sunset colors, decrease for muted tones
- Color Temperature — shift between warm (orange/red) and cool (purple/blue) evening tones
- Cloud Tint — control how clouds pick up sunset colors
Preview Your Changes
Stand at a high vantage point—a mountain peak or tall building—to see the full sky. Watch how your adjustments affect the color gradient from horizon to zenith.
If the sunset feels too warm, cool it down. If it's too muted, boost saturation. Most players prefer warm, golden sunsets that transition to soft purples and blues higher in the sky. Experiment until the atmosphere matches your preferred aesthetic.
