Comparing Iron Armor to Other Armor Tiers

Understanding the Visual Scope

Eugene's Iron Knight Armor Resource Pack exclusively retextures iron-tier armor. Other armor tiers—diamond, netherite, gold, leather, and chainmail—retain their vanilla textures unless you have additional resource packs installed.

What Changes: Only iron helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots receive the medieval knight treatment.

What Stays Vanilla: All other armor types look exactly as they do in unmodified Minecraft.

Planning Your Armor Progression

If you want a consistent medieval aesthetic throughout your playthrough, be aware that upgrading to diamond or netherite armor will break the knightly theme unless you install separate resource packs for those tiers. Consider keeping iron armor equipped for visual purposes even after obtaining better protection, or search for companion resource packs that retexture higher-tier armor in matching styles.
