How do I see what the iron armor looks like?
Load a world with the resource pack enabled, craft or find iron armor, and equip it on your character or place it on an armor stand. You can also view it in your inventory or use the 3D model viewer in most resource pack managers.
Does this pack work with mods that add new armor?
This pack only retextures vanilla iron armor, so it won't affect armor from other mods. Other mods' armor will display with their own textures unless those mods specifically depend on this pack.
Why does my iron armor look vanilla or wrong?
Make sure the resource pack is enabled and ranked above any conflicting packs in your resource pack list. If it's enabled but still looks wrong, try reloading the world or restarting your game.
Can I use this with other resource packs at the same time?
Yes, but pack order matters—place this pack higher in your resource pack list than any other packs that might also modify iron armor. The topmost pack takes priority.
Does this change how iron armor performs or its durability?
No, this is purely visual. Iron armor functions exactly the same as vanilla—same protection, durability, and enchantability.
Will this pack work on servers?
Yes, resource packs are client-side only, so you can use it on any server without needing the server to have it installed.
How does the armor look in dark caves versus bright sunlight?
The medieval knight design includes shading and detail that becomes more visible in bright light; in dark caves, the armor will appear darker but the cartoon style should still be recognizable. Try visiting both lighting conditions to see the full effect.
Can I mix this armor with diamond or netherite armor?
Yes, you can wear iron armor from this pack alongside other armor tiers. The iron pieces will have the medieval knight look while other armor tiers keep their vanilla appearance.
Does this pack affect armor on mobs or other players?
Yes, any mob or player wearing iron armor will display the medieval knight look when you see them, since the texture change is on your client.
What do I do if the pack won't load or crashes my game?
Try removing the pack and reinstalling it, then test with no other packs enabled. If it still crashes, check that your Minecraft version matches the pack's compatibility, and consider disabling any conflicting mods that heavily modify rendering.
