Eugenes 3D Stuffs Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Why do my items still look flat even though I installed the pack?
Make sure the resource pack is enabled and ranked above any conflicting packs in your resource pack list. If you're using Optifine or similar mods, verify that custom model data is enabled in the mod settings.
Do 3D items show up in my inventory or only in the world?
3D item models display in your inventory, hotbar, and hand when held. They won't appear on the ground as dropped items—those remain 2D sprites.
Will this pack work with my other resource packs?
Yes, but pack order matters. Place Eugene's 3D Stuffs above other packs in your resource pack list if you want its models to take priority, or below if you prefer other packs' textures for specific items.
Is this pack compatible with Optifine?
Yes, the pack works with Optifine. Make sure custom model data is enabled in Optifine's settings for best results.
Why is my game lagging after installing this pack?
3D models use more rendering resources than flat textures. Try lowering your render distance, disabling fancy graphics, or reducing other visual mods. You can also selectively disable 3D models for less-used items if needed.
Do enchanted items show the 3D models or the glow effect?
Enchanted items display both—the 3D model with the enchantment glow overlay applied on top.
Which items get the 3D treatment in this pack?
The pack includes 3D models for a wide range of tools, weapons, food, and decorative items. Check the pack's screenshots or in-game to see which specific items are covered.
Can I use this pack on a multiplayer server?
Yes, resource packs are client-side only, so other players won't need it installed. You'll see 3D items on your screen while others see the default textures.
Do mods that add new items work with this pack?
Only if those mods' items are specifically included in Eugene's 3D Stuffs. Mod-added items will use their default textures unless the pack is updated to support them.
How do I know if an item is actually rendering in 3D or if it just looks different?
Rotate your view or move the item around in your hand—true 3D models will show depth and different angles as you move, while flat textures stay the same from all angles.
