Essential Permissions Mod Guide
How Permissions Work
Essential Permissions Mod adds permission checks into vanilla Minecraft, letting you fully customize who can do what. Permissions use Brigadier's node system, so every command node has its own permission.
For example, minecraft.command.gamemode grants access to the /gamemode command node, while minecraft.command.gamemode.survival is needed to actually run /gamemode survival. To give full access to a command, grant all its child nodes, such as minecraft.command.gamemode.*.
Server-Side Quality of Life
When installed server-side, the mod makes clients believe they are opped. This lets players with the right permissions place operator blocks and open the gamemode switcher menu without needing real operator status.
Datapack Support
An extra /execute if permission condition is included, allowing datapacks to check permissions directly.
