Setting and Using Homes with Essential Commands

Creating Your First Home

Stand where you want your home to be, then run the set-home command (typically /home set <name> or /sethome <name>, depending on how your server configured it). Give it a short, memorable name like base or mine. You can usually create multiple named homes, so label each one clearly.

Once set, typing the home command with that name teleports you straight back to those coordinates. This is the fastest way to return from a mining trip or a far-off exploration run.

Managing Multiple Homes

List your saved homes with the home list command to see every name you have stored. Delete ones you no longer need with the delete subcommand so you do not clutter the list. If your server limits how many homes each player can have, the list command is the quickest way to check what you have used.

Homes are tied to your player data, so they persist across sessions. If a command is refused, the permission node for that home action likely is not granted to your rank. Ask an admin to check the essentialcommands home permissions. Because the mod is serverside, your client does not need it installed to use these commands.
