Recovering Your Position with /back and Random Teleport with /rtp
Using /back After Death or Teleport
The back command returns you to your previous location. It is most commonly used right after dying, letting you run back to where you fell, though many servers also let you use it after a teleport to undo an accidental jump. Type the back command and you are sent to your last recorded position.
Because this can be powerful in PvP, servers often restrict it with cooldowns or disable it in certain worlds. If nothing happens, check whether the back permission is granted to you and whether the config has it toggled on.
Exploring with Random Teleport
The random teleport command, usually /rtp, sends you to a random safe location in the current world. It is the standard way to find untouched terrain on a crowded server without walking for thousands of blocks.
Random teleport can place you far from home, so set a home or note your coordinates before using it. Both commands depend on their own permission nodes and can be disabled entirely in the config.
