How to Teleport to Another Player with /tpa in Essential Commands

Sending a Teleport Request

To teleport to someone, type /tpa <player> in chat, replacing <player> with their username. This sends a request rather than moving you instantly, so the other player stays in control. They will see a message telling them you want to teleport to them, and they can accept or deny it.

If you want to pull someone to your location instead, use /tpahere <player>. This asks them to teleport to you, which is handy when you are guiding a new player back to base.

Accepting and Managing Requests

When you receive a request, run /tpaccept <player> to allow it. If you change your mind about a request you sent, use the cancel command to withdraw it before it is answered. Requests typically expire after a short time, so the recipient should respond reasonably quickly.

Remember that these commands only work if the permission nodes are granted and the permissions API option is enabled in the config. On a server, ask your admin to give you essentialcommands.tpa and essentialcommands.tpahere if the commands are rejected. In singleplayer, permissions are usually not a barrier, so the commands should just work once the mod is present.
