Finding and Locating Witch Hut Castles in Your World

Witch hut castles spawn in swamp biomes, replacing the vanilla witch hut structures. They appear in the same locations where you'd normally find small wooden huts, so your existing knowledge of swamp generation still applies.

Navigation Tips

Look for tall stone towers rising above the swamp landscape—these are visible from a distance and serve as landmarks. The castles are built with vanilla stone blocks, so they'll have a gray, weathered appearance that contrasts with the murky water and vegetation.

If you're exploring a swamp and haven't spotted a castle yet:

• Travel further into the biome; structures may be spread out
• Look for areas where the terrain is slightly elevated or where water pools form
• Check multiple swamp biomes if one appears empty

Using World Generation Mods

If you're running compatible world generators like Terralith, Biomes O' Plenty, or Regions Unexplored, castles will still spawn in their swamp variants. The data pack automatically integrates with these mods, so castles appear naturally without extra configuration.

Once you spot a tower or castle silhouette, approach cautiously—witches still inhabit these structures and will attack if provoked.
