How to Switch Between Grid and List View and Read Skill Tooltips

Choosing a View

The Better Skill Menu supports two ways to display your equipped skills: a grid view and a list view. Switch between them using the view toggle in the panel. Neither view changes what is equipped — it only changes how the skills are presented.

• Grid view: compact tiles arranged in a grid. Best when you have many skills and want to see them all at a glance.
• List view: skills shown in a vertical list. Best when you want more readable names and easier tooltip reading.

Reading Tooltips

Hover your cursor over any skill to bring up its tooltip. The tooltip shows the skill name and a detailed description, giving you instant access to what the skill does without leaving the menu. This is the fastest way to compare skills before deciding what to equip.

Practical Workflow

1. Open the panel and pick the view that suits your loadout size.

2. Hover each skill to read its description.

3. Switch views if the current one feels cramped or too sparse.

4. Equip or unequip as needed using drag-and-drop or click.

Because both views show the same equipped skills, you can freely toggle between them mid-session without losing your place or your current loadout.
