Epic Fight Better Skill Menu Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I open the Better Skill Menu?
Open the skill menu the same way you would in Epic Fight — typically through the mod's skill screen keybind or by interacting with the skill book. The Better Skill Menu replaces the default book-style interface, so the panel appears in its place.
Why does my skill menu still look like the old book?
The Better Skill Menu only replaces the Epic Fight skill screen, so make sure Epic Fight itself is installed and loaded. If another mod also overrides the skill GUI, it may take priority and hide the panel.
How do I equip a skill in the new menu?
Drag a skill from the available list onto an equip slot, or click it to assign it directly. Both drag-and-drop and click are supported, so use whichever feels faster.
How do I unequip a skill?
Drag the equipped skill out of its slot, or click it to remove it. The change applies immediately without needing to confirm or close the menu.
Can I equip skills straight from a skill book?
Yes — the menu supports direct interaction from skill books, so you can assign a skill without first moving it into your inventory manually. Open the book and use the same drag or click actions.
How do I switch between grid and list view?
Use the view toggle in the skill panel to switch between grid and list layouts. Grid gives a compact overview of many skills, while list view shows more detail per row.
How do I see a skill's description?
Hover over a skill to bring up its tooltip, which shows the skill name and a detailed description. This works in both grid and list view.
Why can't I see all my equipped skills at once?
The panel is designed to show all equipped skills in a single screen, so if something is missing, check that the skill is actually equipped and not just unlocked. Also confirm no other UI mod is overriding the screen.
Does this mod work with other Epic Fight addons?
It only changes the skill menu interface, so it generally coexists with addons that add skills or weapons. Conflicts are most likely with other mods that also replace the skill GUI.
Does the Better Skill Menu affect performance?
It's a UI-only mod, so it has minimal impact on gameplay performance. Any lag you notice is more likely from Epic Fight's combat animations or other content mods.
