Making Modded or Specific Entities Visible From Farther Away

The Mod Handles Modded Entities Too

One of the strengths of this mod is that it works with entities added by other mods, not just vanilla ones. If a modded mob, vehicle, or decorative entity is disappearing too close to you, you can raise its distance the same way you would for a vanilla entity.

Raising Distance for a Specific Entity

1. Open Options → Video Settings → Entity Distance Settings.

2. Scroll or search the list for the entity you care about. Modded entities appear under their own names, so look for the mod's naming.

3. Drag that entity's slider to the right to increase how far away it stays visible.

4. Walk away from the entity and watch for the point where it vanishes — that is your new cutoff.

If you cannot find an entity in the menu, try the /entityviewdistance command with the entity's ID instead; the command accepts the same IDs used by /summon, which is the reliable way to target modded entities whose menu names are unclear.

Cautions

Raising distance for many entities at once can undo the performance gains the mod is meant to provide. Increase only the entities you actually need to see from afar, and keep an eye on FPS in crowded areas. If a modded entity never appears no matter the setting, the issue is likely that mod's own rendering, not this mod's distance value.
