Make a Mob Immune to Specific Damage Types

Access the Immunities Tab

Protect your custom mobs from taking damage they shouldn't. The mod provides a dedicated interface for setting damage resistances.

1. Open /vme gui and select the mob you want to modify

2. Click Edit to open its template

3. Navigate to the Immunities or Resistances tab

4. You'll see toggles for common damage types: fire, falling, projectiles, magic, and explosions

5. Enable the immunity types you want by clicking their toggles

Apply and Test Your Changes

After selecting immunities:

1. Review your selections in the preview panel

2. Click Save to apply the template

3. Spawn or encounter the mob in your world to verify

4. The mob will now ignore the damage types you selected

For example, a fire-immune mob won't take damage from lava, fire charges, or burning blocks. A projectile-immune mob will ignore arrows and thrown tridents. You can combine multiple immunities on a single mob to create specialized variants.
