Where do I find the search bar after installing the mod?
The search bar appears at the top of your resource pack selection screen and your multiplayer server selection screen. Simply open either screen from the main menu and you'll see the text input field ready to use.
Can I search for servers by IP address or just by name?
The search function looks for matches in server names as you've saved them in your list. If you've named your server with its IP or a custom label, you can search by that text.
Does the search work with partial names or do I need the exact name?
The search works with partial matches, so typing even a few letters of your resource pack or server name will filter the list to show relevant results.
What happens if I clear the search box—do all items come back?
Yes, clearing the search box or deleting all text will immediately show your full list of resource packs or servers again.
Does this mod affect my game performance or loading times?
The mod is lightweight and only adds a search interface to existing screens, so it should have no noticeable impact on performance or loading times.
Can I search for resource packs by their file name instead of display name?
The search matches against the display names shown in your resource pack list, not the underlying file names.
Why isn't my server showing up in search results even though it's in my list?
Check that you're typing text that matches the server's saved name in your list. If the server was added without a custom name, try searching for keywords from its default label or IP.
