Apply High-Tier Enchantments to Tools and Armor

Book-to-Item Combination

Once you've upgraded an enchanted book beyond vanilla limits using book-on-book combinations, you can apply it to your gear:

1. Open an anvil menu

2. Place your tool or armor piece in the left slot

3. Place the high-tier enchanted book in the middle slot

4. Review the experience cost

5. Confirm the combination to transfer the enchantment to your item

Preserving Your Item

The plugin automatically protects all item data during this process, including:

• Custom lore and display names
• Armor trims and decorative attributes
• Existing enchantments
• Custom NBT attributes

Your item's appearance and special properties remain intact after applying the new enchantment.

Combining Items Directly

If enabled on your server, you can also place two identical items with matching enchantments into the anvil to upgrade them both at once, skipping the book step entirely.
