Choosing the Right Boot Enchantment

Boots in this mod offer several defensive options. Some reduce fall damage directly, while others transform it into a bounce effect that lets you leap back into the air.

Equipping and Testing

1. Enchant your boots at an Enchanting Table or apply an enchanted book using an Anvil

2. Put the boots on and climb to a safe height

3. Jump and fall to test the enchantment's effect

4. Different boot enchantments activate automatically—no extra button press needed

Combining with Other Armor

Boot enchantments work alongside your helmet, chestplate, and other gear. If your chestplate has the Totem of Undying effect, it provides a second layer of death protection. This means you can survive situations that would normally kill you outright.

Practical Use

Bounce boots are especially useful for traversing mountainous terrain or escaping danger quickly. Fall damage reduction is more straightforward but less versatile. Test both types to see which fits your exploration style.
