Using Enhanced Boss Bars on a Server or With Other Players

It Is Client-Side Only

Enhanced Boss Bars changes textures on your own screen. It does not need to be installed on the server, and other players will not see your bars unless they also use the pack. This makes it safe to add on any multiplayer server that allows resource packs, because it does not change gameplay, hitboxes, or anything the server checks.

Server Resource Pack Conflicts

Many servers push their own resource pack when you join. That server pack often sits above your personal packs and can override boss bar textures. To keep Enhanced Boss Bars visible:

1. Join the server and let its pack download.

2. Open Resource Packs and find the server pack in the active list.

3. Move Enhanced Boss Bars above the server pack.

4. Note that some servers re-apply their pack on each join, so you may need to repeat this.

Playing With Friends

• Share the pack file with friends who want the same look; each person enables it locally.
• If a friend sees vanilla bars, their load order is the usual cause.
• On realms or LAN worlds, nothing extra is required on the host side.
