How to Charge and Uncharge Items and Minecarts

Chargers and Unchargers

The Charger and Advanced Charger fill energy into items that store power (like batteries, tools, or armor from other mods). The Uncharger and Advanced Uncharger do the opposite — they drain energy from items back into your network. Place them next to your energy cables and insert the item into the appropriate slot.

Minecart Charging

Battery Box Minecarts, Advanced Battery Box Minecarts, and Elite Battery Box Minecarts are mobile energy storage on rails. Use the Minecart Charger to fill them and the Minecart Uncharger to drain them. Place the charger/uncharger on a rail line so the cart passes through or parks on it. Connect the charger to your energy network so it has power to transfer.

Practical Uses

• Charge tools before mining trips.
• Use minecart chargers to refuel battery carts that power remote machines.
• Uncharge drained carts to reclaim energy instead of wasting it.
• Advanced versions transfer energy faster — use them when throughput matters.

Troubleshooting

If charging doesn't happen, confirm the charger has energy in its buffer, the item/cart actually stores energy, and the target isn't already full.
