Set Up Automatic Daily Backups

Configure Your Backup Schedule

Press N to open the configuration menu. You'll see timer settings for each backup type: Full, Partial, and Differential. Adjust these values to control how often each backup runs. For example, set Full Backups to run once per day and Partial Backups every few hours to balance protection with storage usage.

Enable Warnings Before Saves

Within the config menu, enable chat or action bar notifications. This alerts active players before a backup begins, preventing interruptions during important building moments. The mod will pause automatic saves when no players are online, so your server won't waste resources on empty worlds.

Save Your Settings

After adjusting timers and notification preferences, confirm your changes. Use /jeb config reload in chat to apply updates without restarting. Check /jeb next to see when your next scheduled backup will run. Your automation is now active and will protect your world on the schedule you've set.
