End Villager Trader FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I find the End Merchant's ship?
Travel to the End dimension and look up at the sky—the purple and yellow floating ship is visible from below across different End biomes. Once you spot it, you'll need to use your Elytra or build up to reach it.
Can I bring the merchant to my base?
Yes, take the Shulkerblock Workstation from inside the ship and place it next to any jobless villager in your base to convert them into an End Merchant.
What items does the End Merchant sell?
The merchant sells End-related items and rockets for your Elytra once they reach master level, along with other helpful supplies for exploring the End.
How good is Shulker Armor compared to diamond?
Shulker Armor provides the same protection level as diamond gear and includes the bonus effect of preventing knockback from enemies.
What happens when I wear the full Shulker Armor set?
Wearing all four pieces grants you the Slow Falling effect, which protects you from taking fall damage and keeps you safe if you accidentally fall toward the void.
How do I repair Shulker Armor?
You can repair damaged Shulker Armor pieces using Shulker Shells at a crafting table or anvil, similar to how you'd repair other gear.
Do I need to find the ship every time I want to trade?
No—once you place the Shulkerblock Workstation in your base with a jobless villager, you can trade with them locally without returning to the ship.
Can the merchant reach master level?
Yes, as you trade with the merchant, they level up, and at master level they unlock the ability to sell rockets for your Elytra.
What if I can't find a jobless villager?
You can cure a zombie villager or find one naturally spawning in villages, or simply place the workstation next to any villager that hasn't been assigned a job yet.
Does this mod affect performance in the End?
The mod adds one floating ship structure and a new villager type, which should have minimal performance impact on most systems.
