How to Disable Specific Enchantments with Enchantment Disabler
Finding and Editing the Config
After installing the mod, open your Minecraft instance folder and locate the config directory. Inside you should find a file named after the mod (typically enchantmentdisabler or similar). Open it with any plain text editor. The config contains a list section where you add the registry names of enchantments you want removed from the game. Use the full namespaced ID, for example minecraft:sharpness or minecraft:mending. Each entry goes on its own line in the list format the file uses.
Applying and Verifying Changes
Save the file and restart Minecraft completely — reloading a world is not enough because the config is read at startup. Once in-game, open a creative inventory tab or search EMI/REI for the enchantment you disabled. It should no longer appear. Then test the enchanting table: place a fresh item and check that the disabled enchantment never shows up in the rolled options. You can also check villager trades and loot chests in a test world to confirm the enchantment is fully suppressed. If something still shows, double-check the spelling of the registry name and make sure you edited the correct config file for your mod loader.
Disabling Multiple Enchantments
Add as many entries as you need to the list. Order does not matter. Keep a backup of the config before large edits so you can revert if a typo breaks parsing.
