How to Enchant Any Item (Even Non-Tools) with /ec enchant

The basic command

Hold the item you want to enchant in your main hand (the hand you swing when you left-click). Then run:

`

/ec enchant <enchantment> <level>

`

The mod applies the enchantment directly to that held item. Because the command targets your main hand rather than a specific item type, it works on anything — swords, pickaxes, armor, books, or even a plain stick. Enchanting a stick with Knockback is a classic example of what this mod makes possible.

Step by step

1. Select the item in your hotbar so it is in your main hand.

2. Open chat and type /ec enchant (note the trailing space).

3. Press Tab to cycle through the enchantment names available in your game — this includes enchantments added by other installed mods, not just vanilla ones.

4. Type the level you want after the enchantment name, then press Enter.

5. The enchantment appears on the item immediately, with its normal glint and tooltip.

If the command does not run, check whether the server or your config has renamed the command prefix. The default is /ec, but it can be changed to avoid clashing with another mod's command.
