Copying Enchanted Books

When you find a rare enchanted book, you don't need to choose which item gets it—duplicate it first.

Book Duplication Process

1. Place your enchanted book in the left slot of an anvil

2. Place one or more blank books in the right slot

3. Combine them

4. Each blank book becomes an exact copy of the enchanted book

You can duplicate multiple books in one operation by stacking blanks in the right slot.

Extract Magic from Tools

If you have a fully repaired tool or weapon with enchantments you want to preserve:

1. Repair the item completely using its base material

2. Place the fully repaired item in the left anvil slot

3. Place a blank book in the right slot

4. Combine them

5. The enchantment transfers to the book, and you keep both the book and the tool

This lets you safely extract rare enchantments before retiring old gear.
