How to Perform Emotes In-Game with Emotecraft
Once Emotecraft is installed, you can trigger emotes directly from your keyboard without opening any menu. The mod ships with a default emote wheel and a set of keybinds you can rebind at any time.
Opening the Emote Wheel
Press the emote wheel keybind (by default B, but check your Controls menu under the Emotecraft category). A radial menu appears on screen showing the emotes currently assigned to your wheel. Hover over a slot and release the key, or click the emote, to play it. Your character will animate immediately, and nearby players with the mod installed will see the same animation.
Rebinding and Quick Emotes
Open Options → Controls → Key Binds and scroll to the Emotecraft section. Here you can assign individual hotkeys to specific emotes so you can trigger a favourite dance or wave with a single press instead of opening the wheel. This is useful for roleplay servers where you emote often.
Things to Know
- Emotes play on your player model, so they work in third-person view and are visible to others.
- If another player does not have Emotecraft, they will not see your animation.
- Some emotes loop; press the key again or move to cancel a looping emote.
- You can stop an emote mid-animation by sneaking or attacking.
