How to Create Your Own Emote with the Emotecraft Editor
Emotecraft includes an in-game editor that lets you build custom animations by posing your player model frame by frame. This is how most community emotes are made.
Entering the Editor
Open the Emotecraft emote menu and choose the option to create or edit an emote. This puts you into an editing mode where you can manipulate your player's body parts. You will see controls for selecting a limb or body part and rotating it to a new position.
Building the Animation
1. Select a body part (head, arms, legs, torso).
2. Rotate it into the pose you want for the current frame.
3. Add a new keyframe and move the body part again to create motion between frames.
4. Repeat until the animation is complete, then preview it to check the timing.
Saving and Sharing
When you are happy with the emote, save it. It is stored as an emote file in your Emotecraft folder. You can then assign it to your wheel or hotkey, and share the file with other players so they can import it the same way. Keep animations short and loop-friendly if you want them to work well as dances or idle gestures.
Notes
- The editor works on your own player model, so test emotes in third-person to see the result.
- Complex emotes with many keyframes take longer to sync; keep them reasonable for smooth playback.
