How to Add and Import Custom Emotes in Emotecraft
Emotecraft supports custom emotes that you or others have created. These are shared as emote files and loaded through the mod's emote menu, so you are not limited to the built-in animations.
Finding the Emotes Folder
Emotecraft stores emotes in a folder inside your Minecraft instance directory (commonly under emotes or within the config area, depending on your setup). Open your game directory, locate the Emotecraft emote folder, and drop any .emotecraft emote files you have downloaded into it. If the folder does not exist yet, launch the game once with the mod installed so it generates the structure.
Loading Emotes In-Game
Open the Emotecraft emote menu (the same menu used for the emote wheel). There is a button to load or import emotes from your files. Select the emote file you placed in the folder, and it will be added to your available emotes list. From there you can assign it to a wheel slot or a hotkey.
Tips
- Emote files are created with the Emotecraft in-game emote editor or external tools; you cannot import arbitrary video files.
- If an emote does not appear, confirm the file extension matches what the mod expects and that it is in the correct folder.
- Custom emotes only display for players who also have that emote file installed.
