How to Use EMI Loot to Plan a Farming or Looting Route
Combine Chest, Mob, and Block Views
EMI Loot is most useful when you use all three of its views together. Chest views tell you what a structure's containers can hold, mob views tell you what enemies drop and under what conditions, and block views tell you what terrain yields with the right tool. Planning a route means checking each of these before you travel.
Building the Route
Start by picking the resource you want. Search it in EMI and note every source EMI Loot lists — a chest percentage group, a mob drop category, or a block drop category. Then decide which source is most reliable based on the percentages and conditions shown.
Practical Steps
1. Search your target item in EMI and open its loot sources.
2. For chest sources, note the percentage group it falls into.
3. For mob sources, note the condition category so you bring the right weapon or method.
4. For block sources, note whether Silk Touch or Shears are required.
5. Prepare the correct tools and gear before leaving base.
6. Re-check the views after installing new mods, since modded loot table entries appear automatically.
This turns guesswork into a checklist, so each trip targets the drops you actually need.
