How to Check Mob Drops and Their Conditions in EMI Loot

Opening the Mob Drop View

EMI Loot adds drop views for mobs, not just chests. To see what a mob can drop, look up the mob in EMI's item/entity search and open its loot information. The panel splits the drops into separate categories based on the circumstances required to obtain each one.

What the Categories Mean

Drops are grouped by condition rather than listed as one flat table. Typical categories include drops that always apply when the mob dies, drops that only appear when the mob is killed in a specific way, and drops tied to special situations such as the mob being on fire or being killed by a player. Because the categories reflect circumstances, you should read the category label before assuming a drop is guaranteed.

Practical Steps

1. Search the mob in EMI and open its loot entry.

2. Read each category heading to learn what condition triggers those drops.

3. Hover items to see the average stack size you can expect.

4. If you are hunting a specific drop, adjust your kill method to match the category it appears under.

5. Cross-check with the block drop view if the mob also drops blocks or equipment.

This lets you plan a farm around the exact condition a rare drop requires instead of killing the mob randomly and hoping.
