Check Your Elytra's Remaining Flight Time

View the Flight Duration Tooltip

The core feature of Elytra Time Mod is displaying how long your elytra will keep you airborne before breaking. This information appears automatically without any special commands or configuration.

Steps:

1. Open your inventory and locate your elytra

2. Hover your cursor over the elytra item

3. Read the tooltip that appears on screen

The tooltip will show your elytra's durability as a remaining flight duration, measured in time units. This gives you a much clearer picture than raw durability numbers—you'll instantly know whether you have enough flight time to reach your destination or need to land and repair first.

Plan Your Journeys

Use this information before taking off on long expeditions. If your elytra shows low remaining flight time, consider:

• Repairing it with phantom membranes or mending enchantment before departure
• Planning a shorter route with landing spots
• Bringing backup elytra if you have them

This prevents the frustration of running out of durability mid-flight over dangerous terrain or water.
